Lowest to Highest Totals Based on NHL Odds

The NHL has a packed Thursday night perfect for our NHL Grand Salami predictions. Thirteen games are on tap. Bettors looking to bet on the ‘over’ could have a paradox of choice given how more than half of the games could just do that. To help distinguish the games, let’s rank the 13 NHL matchups based on the oddsmakers’ lines.

Modestly Lined: Totals of 6.0

13. Islanders vs Blues
12. Stars vs Coyotes
11. Bruins vs Rangers
10. Ducks vs Canucks

These four games are expected to be the lowest-scoring of the evening. The NHL betting percentages more toward the over. While Anaheim is struggling to score, both teams are allowing over four goals per game.

As for the Arizona Coyotes, they are the only team on this portion that allows over four goals per game. However, they did nearly shut down theRangers, whose totals have gone under in seven of their 11 games.

Next in line are a trio of matchups lined at 6.5 but the total juiced slightly to the under. While we have it ranked this way, consider these games almost even in of their scoring potential. The Winnipeg.

The Kings and Blackhawks are a surprise team this season and their improved offense (3.2 goals per game) is a wildcard with these NHL Grand Salami predictions.

Holding Steady: Games at 6.5

4. Golden Knights vs Senators

On the other half of the total-of-6.5 pie are these three games. With lines currently at a standstill, any or all of these games could swing our NHL Grand Salami predictions.The Lightning are two elite teams who tend to play each other close. Some of their games feature action-packed exchanges while some become defensive (or goaltending) showcases. However, eight of their last 10 meetings have gone under.

Going Over: 6.5 to 7

1. Devils vs Oilers

The three potentially highest-scoring games of the evening are led by the Devils and Oilers. This matchup is the only one with a total set at seven. These teams combine to average 7.7 goals per game. Devils have scored an average of six goals in their last two games. The total has also gone over in five of their last six games against each other.
