49ers Receiver Props: Weapons Galore for San Francisco in Super Bowl

Quarterback Brock Purdy Has a Wealth of Options

But Which 49er Will Shine Brightest in the Super Bowl?

Unlike the Super Bowl 49ers receiver props , we can expect Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel to be the most prolific. But it’s not that clear-cut as any four of these stars could explode.

The 49ers “Receivers:” Aiyuk and Samuel Lead

It may come down to receivers Aiyuk or Samuel as to who leads the regular NFL season and playoffs:

Uncover Exclusive Picks & Predictions From Our Experts.

Receiving Yards:

  • Brandon Aiyuk: 63.5
  • Deebo Samuel: 57.5
  • George Kittle: 46.5
  • Christian McCaffrey: 34.5
  • Jauan Jennings: 14.5

Receptions:

  • Brandon Aiyuk: 4.5
  • Deebo Samuel: 4.5
  • Christian McCaffrey: 4.5
  • George Kittle: 3.5
  • Jauan Jennings: 1.5
  • Kyle Juszczyk: 0.5

Aiyuk has been Purdy’s favorite target as he’s commanded a total of 119 targets. However, he’s been less efficient this postseason as he’s only caught six of Purdy’s 14 throws. Samuel, on the other hand, has been a magnet as he’s caught 10 of the 11 es thrown his way.

The former first-team All-Pro has 43 receptions and 605 receiving yards in 11 career playoff games. His current catch rate of 90.9% is significantly higher than his 61.1% average from the past three postseasons. So it’s a wonder if he can maintain this efficiency or if he has an “off” game.

Samuel is a long shot to win MVP at 20-1, which may be a shrewd Super Bowl prediction if he stays this prolific. He is also expected to rush for over 13.5 yards and has 75.5 yards from scrimmage (rushing plus receiving yards).

McCaffrey’s Destiny and Kittle’s Revenge?

McCaffrey and Kittle are the two other key components of San Francisco’s prolific ing game. The former leads the team with 17 targets and 11 receptions this postseason while the latter has one of San Francisco’s two receiving touchdowns. To fulfill their “destinies”, they need to stay prolific given their 49ers receiver props .

The stars have seemingly aligned for San Francisco’s stars. McCaffrey is the son of Ed McCaffrey, a Pro Bowl receiver who won three titles playing with the father of Christian’s current head coach, Mike Shanahan. Meanwhile, Kittle promised himself he’d return to the Super Bowl following a bitter defeat three years ago.

Kittle is back in this 2024 Super Bowl and he could still be in for his best performance. He was nigh unstoppable last postseason with 10 catches on 11 targets and 164 receiving yards. He’s “only” hauled in 60% of his targets. So, opposite to Samuel, Kittle could just go over his receiving and reception props.

As for McCaffrey, he should do most of his damage on the ground as he is the top running back. He’s rushed for 188 yards, which is almost entirely the rushing production of the NFL team outside of Purdy. But McCaffrey has also been a reliable safety net for Purdy on screen es and short throws. McCaffrey has had 5+ receptions in three of his last five games.

Unlikely Targets: Juszczyk and Jennings Could Pay Dividends

The 49ers would not be atop the Green Bay as he hauled in five catches for 61 yards. Either could play a big part in this Super Bowl.
