It appeared La Real had fallen behind just two minutes in but Roman Yaremchuk’s goal was ruled offside. A minute later, Ander Barrenetxea sent a cross in the box that Take Kubo kept alive and Andre Silva sent in. It ended up being the game’s only goal as Sociedad keeper Alex Remiro made a crucial double save in the second half.
